This course offers you the unique opportunity to interact with students around the globe to explore the dynamics of inter-relationships between food, population, the environment, and socio-economic development. Through case study presentations, students will focus on a variety of topics that demonstrate linkages between population demographics, natural resource management, food production, biodiversity, and biotechnology. Through satellite, personal videoconferencing, software, and telecommunications technologies, you will exchange ideas and perspectives on the course topics with an international community of students and faculty.
The Global Seminar is directed out of Cornell University. Visit the website at www.globalseminar.org for more information.
